Target & Neiman Marcus? Match Made In Heaven

So yesterday was the launch date of the Target & Neiman Marcus collaboration which includes 24 different designers, including Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Jason Wu and Oscar de la Renta just to name a few.

I really didn't know what I wanted once I got in the store simply because I wanted to see everything in person as opposed to the previews online. My Target actually had most of the pieces, including the Alice + Olivia bicycle, but there were some pieces that had either sold out or they just didn't get in. I actually planned on being at Target as soon as the opened, but by that time actually came, I was too tired so I slept in and took my chances, which I turned out to be lucky considering I got to my Target about an hour before they closed. Once I made my way to where the collection was, I was surprised there were only 2 people there, myself included. The other lady there was literally putting 3 of each item in her cart.

I digress, onto the fun stuff. I picked up 4 items while pondering every other item for at least 45 minutes before finally heading to the checkout. I actually would like to get the Judith Leiber Compact Mirror (her purses are absolutely gorgeous and one of a kind), but I didn't see those so I'll probably just end up ordering it online. Anyways, 2 Tory Burch items and 2 Marc Jacob items ended up coming home with me.

Once I saw the Tory Burch lunchbox and matching thermos I had to have it. I don't carry lunchboxes and it's been years that I've even touched, let alone use a thermos, but I couldn't leave it on the shelf. It was too pretty and maybe it'll help to remind me to carry my lunch as opposed to buying the overpriced food at the airport while I'm working. And $19.99 for the lunchbox and $24.99 for the thermos, it wasn't too terribly bad.

I was getting ready to leave when I stopped at the Marc Jacobs section. Big mistake. I wanted to buy all 3 pouches in the different colors, but at $69.99 each, I stopped myself. Except when it came to the Marc Jacobs scarf. It's black with some silver shimmer on it, and it's pretty. $69.99 but well worth it. It's pretty light weight which is perfect for the Florida 'winters' when it reaches maybe 50 degrees.

Here are some pictures of what I bought...all in all, I wasn't overly impressed with everything, especially since the hype was big, but there were some things they could've done without.

The ever so pretty lunchbox.

I love how it matches (and fits in) the lunchbox. All that's needed is stylish lunches.

I figured gold would get the most use for me and I actually don't own a gold clutch.

I really think this is my most exciting purchase. I love the softness.

Thanks for looking as always.

XOXO
